Week 11 Some more frames.

The bits we received

And what we did with them

Frame 28 went together OK - watch that you don't cover the centre line with the bracing piece, otherwise the keel will not fit.

All the frames that I have now been attached.  All carefully lined up with the bottom of the keel.  It's nice to see that they also lined up with the top of the keel fairly well.  As Colin pointed out, some of the frames were a little loose, so I reinforced the frame as per week 9's Hot Tip

Hot tip of the week

Use a set square to make sure the frames are square to the keel.  If you haven't got a set square, then improvise with an old CD case, floppy disc, or any other common household item that is square.

What we've been promised next week.

A few more frames, and what looks like the rudder hinge bar (for want of the correct term !)

How many hours does it take to build the model ??
