Week 59  This week wooden crane bases and bollards

The bits we received

And what we did with them

Here you can see the bollards glued to the bow and stern.  This is exactly the same process as the previous couple of weeks.

The crane bases are going to have to wait a little while I work out what I'm going to do about the doors on some of the bases.

Here is one of the smaller crane pedestals with etched door attached and painted white.

Here are the two smaller pedestals in place.

Here are the two poop deck pedestals.  The door was glued on (don't forget to bend it to shape) then the pedestals were primed and painted gloss white.  Finally they were superglued in place.  I used a pin to mark the correct position on the deck to help get them in the right place.

Finally, here are the bow crane pedestals.  I used the same method as before.

How many hours does it take to build the model ??
