Week 62  This week we get the lifeboat supports and a couple of other odd bits.

The bits we received

And what we did with them

Boy - these supports are fiddly.  I carefully cut them out, sanded off the rough edges where they were fixed in the fret, and then painted them white.  I used my 'Upside-down masking tape' technique to hold them while they were being painted.  This held them safely, and also kept the bottom free of paint so it was easier to glue them in place.

This picture shows the forward section.  You can also see the template I made.  The positions were marked with a needle as I have done before.

Here is the stern section.  All straight forward, but fiddly to get in just the right position.  These parts were all Superglued in place.

Here are some of the other odd items from this week.

Hot tip of the week

Be very careful not to lose any of these tiny pieces.  A paint spray can will blow them about if they're not stuck down.
