Week 78 This week air intakes and motors

The bits we received

And what we did with them

Firstly I filed off all the mould lines, then glued the small motors on with thick superglue.  A fiddly job, but otherwise straight forward.  Use a metal flat surface to help get the motors lined up with the bottom of the ventilator, being careful not to glue the part to the metal.  The photo shows the parts (along with some from next week) on the masking tape ready for painting.

60 - The little corner pieces on C deck to fit
61 - 2 benches to fit after to railing have been fitted and two skylights to be fitted.
63 - haven't done anything to the lifeboats yet
67 - Handrails to fit
68 - Ladders for the crane base pedestals
69 - a couple of the winches still to fit
70 - some ladders still to fit
72 - Still got to fit the lifeboat davit arms to the bases
73 - cranes to assemble
74 - Three tall air intakes to fit
74 - Ship's names to paint white.
75 - Fit lookout tower and anchors
77 - Navigation lights and 2 vents to fit
